my first day as a 22 year old.
its all going to go by so fast from now on.
thanksgiving dinner in guelph with the aunt and cousins was fun!
good food, good sleep, just a relaxing and comfortable stay...
it was very familiar even after 1.5 yrs of absence.
met up with heni and had hungarian goulash...so yummy.
viktor and heni are the cutest couple ever...he's so mild and she's always bossing him around but they're just the sweetest people and they have the best couple dynamics!
i met heni and isabelle both in my first year in a sexual history class
and its strange to know that one has graduated from her masters' program in holland, and the other has moved into an apartment she bought with her boyfriend in the suburbs.
and me? i'm just truckin'!
my birthday celebrations last night went really well!
it's always so awkward to be excited about your own birthday...it's almost a violation of the basic virtue of humility!
and it's supposed to be overrated but i honestly don't think that such ideal notions of groundedness applies to the single most important date of my life.
plus, it's good reason to have a party!
the night started off slow at the beginning,
at 11pm i was still drinking a beer by myself.
then kweku and naiff came by with a bottle of white, then joy boo (yes! from jc times!!) and gang then we eventually met up with more people in a pub called the madison.
it was simple, just drinking beers and taking shots from my collegues who were trying to get me wasted.
good clean fun!
my 21st in amsterdam was almost too crazy, but my 22nd not that bad too.
and now, it's back to work! x
